Here are some of our priorities for the 2017 Legislative session:
1) Secure the best possible allocation to HECC for the public Oregon universities
2) Support legislation to expand and improve health care benefits for part-time and adjunct faculty
3) Defend your PERS (and other) retirement benefits from continued attacks
4) Continue to engage in each university’s institutional board appointment process to ensure strong faculty voices on university boards
5) Create and nurture strong relationships with the many new members of the 2017 Legislature in order to increase support for higher education initiatives
